DOES THIS MINISTRY EXIST?
To provide a nurturing
environment for the spiritual growth of children
with special needs and to help meet the
continuing needs of the families who care for
them.
DESCRIPTION OF MINISTRY
Sonshine, Inc. meets during the
10:30am service on Sunday mornings providing:

A Classroom designed to
accommodate special needs

Committed teachers and
assistants
-
Age appropriate Bible lessons
to promote spiritual growth

Group physical activity which
encourages interaction with peers and use of
large motor skills
-
Manipulatives which encourage
language development

Ministry Director:

Oversees Sonshine, Inc, teachers
and assistants
Teachers:
(Positions open)
Teach once a month during the
10:30am service. Responsibilities include
preparing and implementing lesson, craft and
appropriate activities
Assistants:
(Positions open)
Work once a month with a teacher
during the 10:30am service. Responsibilities
include providing support for teacher directed
activities, interacting with children, providing
one on one assistance as needed.
HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
The first step to becoming
involved is completing a
Ministry Information Card
in the foyer. Upon receipt of
your card you will be contacted and invited to a
meeting where you learn how to become involved
with Sonshine, Inc. During the meeting we will
take you through a screening process and an
orientation. If you have any questions,
